You know how it is when you’re finishing up your project: it’s not the big ticket items that will kill you, it’s the little things like fittings that usually throw a wrench into your plans. Luckily, Fragola Performance Parts has what you need to get everything squared away underhood. Made in the USA, the Connecticut-based group can help you get the plumbing work in your hot rod under control. We made sure to swing by their booth at the SEMA show to check out what’s new in the world of fittings and connectors:
First up are the ORB port plugs (lower right). They have a 1/8th inch MBT hole drilled and tapped into it. Customers were making these modifications already, so now Fragola is offering them so that you can stick a fuel pressure gauge sensor into the system. The MPT adapter (forward left) is new and sports 1-1/4 inch threads and a -16 end to aid in rigging up intercoolers and the like.
Fragola had one of their EFI adapters on display, along with a Corvette-style fuel filter to demonstrate the application. These are offered in both male and female setups.
This is what Fragola is calling a “nitrous showerhead”, though it is a multi-function unit – you can run vacuum lines, brake lines or whatever else you want to through it.. The showerhead has 3/8ths MPT thread on the inlet, has 1/4-inch MPT outlets, and is fully CNC-machined in-house. The showerhead was designed in conjunction with Induction Solutions.
