As I’m designing and building the mezzanine for our new shop, I’ve been thinking about how I want to store hardware. I have some of those nice drawers now, but they hold approximately 1/100oth of the hardware I actually have/need/want so there has to be something else. Unfortunately, there are a jillion options for nut and bolt storage when you consider all the stuff that Harbor Freight, Home Depot, Lowes, and Amazon have, plus all the things you can find that DIY folks have done themselves. I say unfortunately, not because it isn’t helpful, but rather because sometimes it just makes it harder to decide on what you want in your own space. So in the spirit of adding something else cool to the mix of choices, here is a video from Adam showing his solution in his workshop.
As is the norm for him, this was a one day build and holds a TON of stuff. So you can do it too. Check it out.
Video Description:
Adam revamps the hardware storage system for his workshop by building a new custom wall of storage bins! Nuts, bolts, and all manner of hardware now live in this new sorter system that rolls perfectly into its new home in the cave. Happy sorting!
Why roll it when you can take individual bins over to a job?
