Considering all the other advancements in hot rodding and racing, it is kind of funny that fasteners haven’t changed much in the last 50 years with regard to rust proofing. The same could be said about brackets and parts. Let’s face it, you have stainless, painted metals, anodizing, and a few other coating options. Some of them you can do at home, but not all of them. But what if there were some coating options that would help you rust proof your metal brackets, etc? This cool video shows 5 different coating methods to be done at home. I can’t say that I’ve tried all these, but I just might try a few now!
