The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8s are the family haulers to end all family haulers. Hemi power, all-wheel drive and all of the attitude you could possibly want out of a muscle car fitted into an SUV with Jeep’s rugged looks is a pretty compelling reason just to drive one. Hot-rod one, and you’ll end up with one of the most wicked sports-utilities out there…and you won’t look like a pretentious dork in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo or a Range Rover. This black brick is a nasty, HPP Performance-tuned monster that we first saw at ChallengerFest 7, rocking house on every run. BigKleib34 caught up with the big black brick at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland, and got the fastest Jeep SRT naturally-aspirated run on video, with the 600 wheel horsepower Grand Cherokee clocking a [email protected] after a wheel-hanging launch. That’s hauling, period, but just wait…nitrous is coming up next for the 426ci stroker motor. Hopefully that goes well, because we can’t wait to see this sport-ute hang hoops and break into single-digit runs!
