The famed Hurst Hemi Under Glass Barracuda, driven by Bob Riggle, has been an icon in the sport of drag racing for decades. We found video of Riggle as his illustrious career behind the wheel was coming to an end. It has great historical footage, the story behind the original car, and more. Oh, and a lot of great wheelstands! Everyone loves a big wheelstand.
It never ceases to amaze us how nuts a crowd of hardcore race fans can get when a wheelstander lines up at the starting line of their favorite dragstrip. Wheelstanders of the sixties like the Hemi Under Glass, Little Red Wagon, The LA Dart, and Texas Paddy Wagon created an entirely new side of drag racing.
