Hearing 1320Video making the claim that the Stockholm Open event was the “the most insane street race we’ve ever filmed” is a statement. They’ve covered a lot of races over the years, legal and otherwise. They knew the Street Outlaw guys before Street Outlaws was even a thing. Chances are good that if you were watching two cars go for it on some road somewhere in America, that 1320Video was holding the camera. So, what marks the Stockholm Open as the ultimate event? Diversity of the cars and how they are powered combined with the organization and structure of the racing. Where else will you see a turbocharged early Camaro with big tires take on a 4G63-powered, all-wheel-drive converted Mitsubishi Colt that pops and barks like a rally car, or a ProCharged, big block Chevy-powered Plymouth Duster taking on an Audi ur-Quattro? Running from location to location in a car dubbed the “Suicide EVO” (You’ll see where that name came from), with crowds of onlookers blocking off major motorways for races to occur, the 1320Video crew spent an entire night running around Stockholm as the best of the best went for broke at each other. This is the 30-minute cut of the entire event…this isn’t the whole video either!
