If you have never seen the Tatra truck trials, you are missing out. These 6×6 trucks are truly something special as they have insane suspension, locking diffs, and the ability to ascend and descend insane inclines and cross deep water like none other. These truck trials put them through awesome obstacle courses and they are a riot to watch. This video features 33 minutes of non-stop action to enjoy. Check it out.
If you aren’t familiar with Tatra, they are a Czech Company that built these trucks for military, mining, forestry service, construction, and more. They have a very unique chassis that features a central tubular “backbone” with independent swing axles. So whether they are a 4×4, 6×6, or even 8×8, each wheel is independently suspended. It allows them to crown over most anything, by keeping wheels on the ground.
