A Medley Of Sounds From Goodwood’s Festival Of Speed: Pure, Unadulterated Automotive Music

Sometimes, it is the simplest things in life that are the best. And around here, it doesn’t get much simpler than seeing and hearing a good racing car that is putting in some work. Goodwood’s hill climb course in West Sussex, England offers the beautiful grounds of the Goodwood property as a stunning backdrop, and the cars that run the hill climb are some of the most highly regarded pieces to be found. It’s not a particularly demanding course but with 2.4 miles of roadway to run, there is plenty of room to open up the throttle and make a little noise for Lord March himself to hear. This video has several good rides flying up the road, including a Ford Escort, a Rover 3500, one nasty Aston Martin V8, and others from BMW, Audi, and Alfa Romeo. Need a moment on your lunch break? Stick your headphones in, crank the volume and enjoy. You’ll feel the wind rustling the leaves in the trees and smell the hint of race gas in the air in no time.
