Ever since Ford dropped the bomb that is the Mustang Shelby GT350 last year, everybody’s main course is not so much the power…that was a given…but the absolutely spectacular noise being blasted out of the two sewer pipes out of the back. There are tons upon tons of videos already of that 5.2L Voodoo screaming out like a banshee with a megaphone and an agenda, but to connect the actual speed of the car with the noise…oooh, man…I can’t even hide how badly I want a shot behind the wheel of one of these monsters. Hennessey has scored one of these monster Mustangs and before they get started ripping into the beast, they took it for a base run and filmed the gauges. The pace doesn’t seem to slow down until the mid-160 MPH range. It’s loud, fast, and would get us thrown in jail in a matter of minutes…and watching that speedometer swing for the far end of the scale is the kind of scene we dream about.
