We recently showed you Ford Performance’s short film “50 Years Of Fun”, where Ford got Vaughn Gitten, Jr., Ryan Tureck, and Chris Forsberg to take a collection of Mustangs to the desert and basically make automotive porn. We don’t know where we missed the job offer for this gig, but screaming engines, tire smoke, and a collection of bad-ass Fords in the desert sounds like the perfect way to make a paycheck, doesn’t it? A lot goes into making these videos, so Ford Performance released this behind-the-scenes clip that shows you the process. Normally, we’d pass on something like this, but this clip offers two reasons for you to watch it: there’s a ton of extra footage that didn’t make it into the first film, and director Andrew Laputka gives each individual car it’s own airtime. All of these beasts are drool-worthy…from the Top Notch Fox Mustang bombing around the course to the resto-perfect 1972 Mach 1 drifting in front of the entire family, it’s great. And just as we hoped, hearing that beastly V10-powered Mustang II in pure anger mode will raise the hair on the back of your neck. It’s goooood.
