Bolt A Snow Plow To The Front Of A ’55 Chevy And Throw Some Chains On It And Who Knows What Will Happen

Bolt A Snow Plow To The Front Of A ’55 Chevy And Throw Some Chains On It And Who Knows What Will Happen

DD Speed Shop is known for doing some fun stuff with a Tri-Five Chevy, but this one takes the cake and makes plowing snow cool. In this video you’ll see that a snow plow and chains does in fact make a 1955 Chevy into a snow plowing machine. Maybe not as bad ass as some of the purpose built snow plows that throw a rooster tail of snow as tall as a house, but still cool as hell. In this video the build of the ’55 Gasser Snow Plow is what you’ll see.

First they have to make the car run worth a crap, wire up the plow, add heat to the car, and then some winter tires and chains because the Cooper Cobras on this sucker won’t be worth a darn in the snow.

Oh and did we mention this thing has a flip front fiberglass front end? And I personally think the hood scoop is the absolute key to this being the coolest snow plow ever. Oh and did we mention that it is big block powered and has a tunnel ram with two Holley carbs? Yeah, this is one cool car on its own, but hang a snow plow on it and this sucker makes snow cool.

Best use for a shoe box. Get it out on the highway and into the salt. Kill ’em all.
