Check Out The Sexy That Hurst Is Bringing Back! It’s Not Linda Vaughn…But It’s Close!

Check Out The Sexy That Hurst Is Bringing Back! It’s Not Linda Vaughn…But It’s Close!

The aftermarket is getting better and better about cool videos all the time, and we like what the guys at Hurst have ended up rolling with. We dig the message of this video, the style, and the impact. Oh, and did we mention that we want a set of Hurst wheels now that we’ve seen them in this video. And can you send the Elves that install the suspension and wheel and tire upgrades? We know they are easy, but we’re lazy and so we want the option.

What do you think of the wheels and lowering kits? And what do you think of the video? We’re curious, and want to hear what you have to say.

just another wheel..nothin special…..production good …I would expect something more original from a company as big as Hurst ….

They must have let some import “stance” guy pick the rim-liner tire sizes for the demo wheels . . . The tires don’t look too “meaty” and seem “stretched” to fit the wheels.

At least there’s no ridiculous VIP/Hellaflush negative camber from the lowering kits.

20s just add unnecessary unsprung weight without any real brake mass benefits.

But why not cut a licensing/distribution deal with some no-name Chinese wheel manufacturer and rake in the ‘phat” profits off of that storied Hurst brand name?

Hmmmmm, these guys have no sense of tradition. I liked the gold version, nice modern interpretation of the old GTO wheels. That said, if this is the overall reaction ya might want to rethink it.

Sorry but 20’s are a waste of metal on these cars. Anything over 18’s IMHO have no performance value, just bling.

Why do nearly all the modern wheels look the same?
It used to be that a set of 15″ Cragar SS or American dish mags had some style and flair. And you could see the depth. These days most all the aftermarket rims look like they are for a front wheel drive car.

I’m old school and from my time there was nothing like the Hurst Shifter however, as for wheels well, nothing like the classy American Mags. They made any car look great. Today’s wheels seem to be “cookie cutter” styles. Sorry about that…Hurst…I would suggest going back to the drawing board, not my style.
