It’s that most wonderful time of the year again, when sales are going strong, the Post Office is buried up to their neck in packages, and Santa is wearing his jolly elf mask as he delivers the presents the world over. It’s also the time where we look forward to family, to festivities, and to feasts….oh, who the hell are we kidding. We’re still kids at heart. We look forward to Christmas morning when we get up and see just how good we are at guessing what the others in our lives have wanted for the past year now. You do remember that feeling, don’t you? Coming downstairs to the new bike, or the drum kit, or the electric car track that your dad would wind up playing with for most of the morning because he was “testing” it to make sure it worked alright? You might get older, the world might get colder, but that feeling will never go away.
Come December 25th, you can fully expect all of us here at BangShift to be playing with our gifts. Bet on it. That, or maybe sleeping in, since that sounds absolutely lovely too. But while the kids are going berserk over what’s in the wrapping paper and boxes, we might sneak out to the garage to enjoy a little something we might have bought ourselves this year. We don’t have anything as cool as Headquake’s scale and no doubt hand-built Escort Mk1 mini rally car, but all the same, we’ll enjoy the day. And we hope you do too.
