If you follow drag racing or the slightly more illicit version, you should be familiar with the LSX Willys Jeep. The 1952 Willys has become the stuff of legends, and we’ve seen this monster first-hand…it’s no joke. But we must have been confused…we thought Justin Miller owned the LSX Willys, but apparently Cleetus McFarland of 1320Video fame, does. How else can you explain the unbelievably patriotic feeling you get when you see a Jeep like the one your great-grandpappy drove in World War II yank the wheels off of the ground with a quick mash of the long pedal on the right? Bald eagles were weeping tears of joy and women everywhere were quick to surround this tall, blond pinnacle of American perfection…maybe that was due to the tons of nitrous, but Cleetus likes to think that it’s all him. We will let him continue to think that, but without question, he’s got good taste in picking cars that he thinks he owns.
