The guys at Scotty’s Garage are our go to guys for great Aussie burnout videos, and they’ve just put out their Best of 2013 video. It’s full of fires, engine explosions, crashes, and killer burnouts which is why this is most certainly the Aussie Best of 2013. We still can’t get over how nice some of these Aussie burnout competition vehicles are, and how much carnage they experience, INCLUDING ROLLOVERS DURING A BURNOUT COMPETITION! If we could afford to paint something that nice we certainly wouldn’t want exploding tires taking out the quarter panels, but these guys never seem to care. And no matter what the outcome of a run, they always exit the vehicle with their hands in the air like they’ve just won the Indy 500 or something.
This video includes the aforementioned fires, plus cars running into barracades, vans flipping over during burnouts, cars launching the blowers clean off of them, and much much more. It’s epic greatness so you must watch it all the way through.
Thanks to Steve Zilm for letting us know Scotty’s had put out this new one.

That is what I like to see Aus cars doing what they are built for, skids, go the burnouts
this is just plain stupid. a huge waste of money, cars and parts
Aussies rock, no more waste of money than any other form of motorsport. When I think about the amount of money we all spend on cars trucks bikes I realize we should all be riding the short bus, and that we would find a way to make that go faster do burnouts etc as well.
Do they soak the tires in gasoline? Any burnouts I have ever done never resulted in setting my tires on fire.
You probably don’t get down to the steel cords in the tire. Once they start glowing the rubber goes too. These guys just go until the tires are gone or the motor is toast!
Thanks for the support guys, always nice to see my videos pop up on US websites.
Most of the fires are caused by excess methanol come out the exhausts. It pools in the systems in the staging lanes (and the drive up to the staging lanes) and generally they start to flame up when the exhausts get hot enough. or the the steel belts start sparking.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
