Poor Kitty…”Hello, Kitty!” Liveried McLaren Gets Wadded Up During A Blancpain Endurance Series Race At Monza

Even in a sea of colorful and notable race cars, a white McLaren 650S Blancpain GT car painted white with pink “Hello, Kitty!” graphics is going to stand out like a sore thumb. Maybe the Attempto Racing team likes to stand out from the rest, or maybe they just can’t resist Hello Kitty’s cute charm. Whatever the case, cute and charming isn’t going to save Ronnie Valori’s backside after this particular mess at Monza. Coming into a corner under hard braking, it appears that Valori was attempting to pass the #84 Bentley Continental GT3 when things went very bad very fast. The McLaren darted right, bounced off of a barrier and ricocheted back across the track, throwing bits of car everywhere before being struck the Bentley, which punted the lighter McLaren into the gravel trap. Nobody was injured, fortunately, but we’re willing to bet that it’s going to take a little more than a cookie and a smile from Valori to make up with the Bentley team.

Well, I guess it’s good to know that even “Hello Kitty” has a bad day, once in a while……….
