Touring Car racing is, to me at least, what NASCAR should be. It’s got pretty much everything that makes NASCAR good (close racing, big crashes, drivers with attitude issues) and fixes what NASCAR fails at (pretty much real cars and road courses instead of always turning left). The cars themselves may not be high-horsepower V8 go karts, but watching typical road vehicles go after each other at top speed is almost better…it’s like a Friday afternoon traffic jam, but at speed after every driver got fired, and it makes for great entertainment. WTCC racing is always good for entertainment, and this video doesn’t disappoint. Sooner or later there will be mangled metal and debris on the track. See the BMW in the lead photo?
