Buying tools for the house is a slippery slope when you are a gearhead. Don’t believe me? I’ll change your mind with a few short statements, followed by your expected response.
– If you live in the Northeast, you should probably have a snowblower. Sounds reasonable.
– If you’re going to buy a snowblower, you might as well buy one big enough to work with big snow drifts, because you never know when a big storm will hit. Might as well. No sense in having to buy twice.
– If you’re going to buy a big snowblower, you might as well get the top of the line one, because the guy next door keeps bragging about his Billy Badass 5000 model Craftsman he picked up last week. Man, I hate that guy.
– If you’re going to get the top of the line, it might as well be able to handle ice and the occasional rock or two. Hmm, it might be a BAD storm. Last winter was pretty bad…
– If it’s going to handle ice and rocks, why not a Geo Metro as well? I mean, this is supposed to be a pretty nasty winter and those snow drifts all look the same when you’re single handedly saving the neighborhood from Blizzardpocalypse 2014, right? U.S.A! U.S.A.!
Now that we’re all on the same page, I present to you the snow blower of your dreams, the Snocrete Snowblower from Fair Manufacturing.
No idea if there is still a drivetrain in the Metro, but this beast chews through the car like, well, like a really freaking huge snowblower eating a Geo Metro, that’s what! (Brian took away my “Big Book of Automotive Blogger Analogies” for my terrible Top 11 picks this week)
Seriously, just watch the video and tell me that you don’t need this snowblower in your life.

I hope the producers/writers of the “Walking Dead” see this. We want a Snocrete. We want…!
It’s tough alright but I like yesterdays better.
That will do an adequite job of blowing my snow.
Holy Shrapnel!!! I could use that on my neighbors car.
I got a couple neighbors who’s cars you can use it on too.
Wonder what their mowing service says about this?
This could solve alot of inner city parking problems …
Reminds me of the days of renting cars. One rental in particular. Seems this high school senior was in a long-running feud with the snow-blower driver. Eventually, the SBD decided enough was enough and did that very thing to the senior’s VW bug (oopsie daisy?)
Great way to kill a Metro
Made in good ol’ South Dakota 🙂
