First Glimpse: The Mighty Car Mods/Roadkill Meet-Up – There Isn’t Even A Car In This, Yet It’s Good!

It’s been in the works for years now, but it’s finally happened: Marty and Moog of Mighty Car Mods and Freiburger and Finnegan of Roadkill have joined forces. And unlike the other particular paring off between Roadkill and (SHOW NAME REDACTED), this matchup looks absolutely peachy. We already know the premise behind the upcoming Roadkill episode that will feature the MCM duo: each side built a car for the other. Roadkill put together a 1969 Chevrolet Impala complete with what seriously looks like the Crusher Camaro’s old blower motor, and in return Mighty Car Mods turned a bug-eye Subaru WRX wagon into a ute, complete with a turbo sticking clean out of the hood and a hater pipe with a flapper. The christened “SubarUte” was even in a SEMA lot…you had to hunt for it a bit, but it was there:

dsc_2748Hacking up a car just for another pair of enthusiasts? Yep…they know our guys pretty well, and while many were probably wanting something Aussie and recognizable (what, and A9X Torana isn’t cheap?) the Subie does represent a good majority of what Australia sees in their automotive world. But the cars will come later…the first big question is, how do these two teams get along? MCM filmed a segment for their “Unicorn Circuit” show that will show you just that. You’ll have to get past some extremely strange show bumpers, but there’s plenty of banter between the guys. Until the full episode of Roadkill comes out where these two internet sensations go at it with their cars, this will have to whet your appetite!

I have to admit, the Aussies are funny! Fanking. WTF is that all about? New Australian fad? That’s taking selfies to a whole new level!

Looks like the swing shift from the Never Sweat copper mine.

At least their not spending all (any) their money on clothes.

Bull market for black ball hats though.
