Fly Like A Brick: Watch The “Bad Company” Monster Truck Do Some Low-Level Flying!

Fly Like A Brick: Watch The “Bad Company” Monster Truck Do Some Low-Level Flying!

I don’t follow monster trucks like I did when I was a kid. I grew up on the TNN showcases: rows of cars ready to be flattened and two machines going heads-up against one another in a race that was judged mainly for speed, with air time being an added bonus. Lately, it seems to be all about the tricks. I can appreciate someone who can make one of these monster machines backflip before reversing with the rear axle hanging in the air, but if you really want to catch my attention with one of these monster machines, learn to fly. John Gordon and the “Bad Company” Chevy monster truck do just that at Rush Offroad in Kentucky…with large run-ups and ramps that launch the truck beautifully, the only thing missing from those Saturday afternoon shows on the television is a row or two of 1970s sleds awaiting their final fate, underneath those tires!
