We think Jay Mohr is one funny bastard. He is one of those guys that doesn’t pull any punches at his show, and honestly was surprised when he was chosen as the host at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards Ceremony. With that said, he certainly turned the fun tach up about 8 grand by being there, despite the fact that Danica Patrick wasn’t thrilled with his poking and prodding jokes. This video showing him taking shots at Danica is pretty epic, and had us laughing and cringing at the same time. Good thing that woman drives a car for a living rather than shooting, cause otherwise he’d be a dead man.
Mohr takes shots at Danica for everything from not finishing near the front to crashing her own boyfriend out of a race, and all kinds of fun stuff in between. She takes on jab at him on camera, but it was apparently her Twitter followers who really slammed him. He backpedals a little bit, but in true comedic fashion ends up getting the last laugh.

I don’t watch any of the Staged Manipulated Entertainment Event junk anymore, but did see the clip already. The thing is that this time just telling it like it is turned out to be as funny as anything he could have made up. Seems like most got a kick out of it, except Princess, gee that’s to bad.
She wasn’t mad,remember when she jumped out of her car at Indy and halled ass down pit lane and all the official tried to stop her? She was mad that day.

Then again … maybe if Danica’d put one half the effort into her driving skills and training as she does blatant Slef Promotion …. maybe the little bimbo would be such an obvious target to make jokes about

If she wasn’t pretty, she wouldn’t have a ride. She isn’t there because of her talent at driving.
What is pathetic is that the commedian had to explain the concept of a roast.
Can you imagine any of the commedians in the classic Dean Martin roasts having to come back and explain to Dino why his feelings shouldn’t be hurt?

Everybody that commented WISHES they had enough talent to make a lap, in anything from a dirt late model up. Looks like more disdane for someone from the outside than a “bitch face”. Anyone that puts her behind the wheel isn’t stupid.

Call it what you will, but anyone who has won an Indy car race, sat on the pole at Daytona and sailed into turn 1 at Indy at 200_plus without lifting is a race car driver. Danica’s done that. It’s not likely that anyone posting here has come close. Its not like she’s the only driver who’s ever thrown a temper tantrum either. Haters gotta hate, but how many desktop racers here think they could outrun her?
True. But she’s just not very good (yet) at driving stock cars. Plenty of drivers fail to make the transition from high downforce/wide-tire open wheel to “taxi cab” race cars.
The knocks on Danica are: (a) the hype hasn’t yet matched the on-track performance and (b) she can at times lack the sort of humility and other personality traits that many Americans seem to prefer in their role models.
Danica’s inability to laugh at herself (plainly evidenced by her reactions to Jay Mohr’s telling of frankly obvious and benign jokes) is evidence of her apparent immaturity. That doesn’t mean she’s not a “race driver.”
Personally, I am sick to death of drawing attention to women who race, and other things like it, saying how “ground breaking” & “history making” they are. Women have been racing…forever. Cars, airplanes, etc. The media is out to do one thing, sell their product, and every generation we have to endure this ridiculous crap, telling us how new! and exciting! this (any) woman is. Get a life. When she wins some big races, let me know.
Face the fact; she’s not a “racer”. She may drive a race car, but that doesn’t mean she’s a racer. Notice that the post-race interviews with Danica stopped mid way through the season. I think the TV guys got tired of her same old bull****.
They should have put her in the truck series for a couple of years before moving her to the Nationwide series, then left her there for three years to she if she had what it takes before moving her to cup. I believe NASCAR pushed the team really hard to move her to cup before she was ready because it’s all about marketing.
She’s in the best equipment and the best she could finish in the cup standings was 27th? Really? I wonder how much NASCAR is paying SHR to keep her on?
In my book, she’s one helluva driver and represents the racing profession well. You go, girl.
I’ll give credit to her where it’s due…although her bad clearly out weighs the good. Regarding the desktop racer comment above…… given the opportunity I would run her anywhere anytime, I’m a racer as well.

she` s a no driver, they gave her the biggest and baddest engines that are legal to run , so anyone can qualify high with that, but you seen what happeded the last few laps she got her pretty little ass smacked so go back to you local track and come back when you can drive with the big dogs
