All of us at BangShift love our cars useable, durable, and powerful, and when I found this footage of a 1963 Ford Galaxie screaming it’s lungs out on a burnout pad in either Australia or New Zealand, I couldn’t help but put it up. The car is owned by Tony Jeffs and while isn’t a show piece, it is a stump puller with big-block power. It’s not known which motor is in the car, but it can be assumed that some kind of worked FE motor is making . The car looks killer, the Minilite-style wheels look good up front and as for the burnout…it’s Down Under, mate, what do you think?
The name Tony Jeffs is connected to a few Galaxies on that end of the world that are runners. One is a full race-prepared car and another one is built up like a rough find ’60’s drag car. We’d like to know more about this guy if anyone has any info!
Man, I miss Burnout Mondays…. and Blackout Steve.
Looks like a 390 emblem on the front fender.
63 1/2 fastback, now that’s a car!
I’d totally pay these guys to blacktop my parking lot
That Galaxie is in Tasmania Australia, the island south of mainland.
This was at muscle car madness in Christchurch in the south island of New Zealand.
