Hot Rod Hoarder Tour: Vintage RACECARS And Crazy Trucks In An Old Factory Building

Here’s another great tour from our friend Tommy Lee Byrd, the Hot Rod Hoarder, and you will dig it I promise. Tommy is one of those guys that can’t help but find the cool stuff, and we love that he shares everything with all of us. This is a cool museum that has some really bitchin cars and trucks, all in an awesome old factory building. Check it out.

Video Description:

The National Auto and Truck Museum in Auburn, Indiana is PACKED with automotive history. With two floors of space, this place has something for everyone. I enjoyed the vintage race cars, which ranged from an old Dodge Charger drag car to open wheel round track cars, and historic NASCAR racecars. Other notable pieces in this museum include a legit Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Charger, and the famous GM Futurliner bus (one of only 12 built).

I also checked out the workshop area and the storage area, where future projects are stored for safe keeping. The workshop area included several awesome cars, including a salt flat belly tanker, a SUPER RARE Barracuda, an AC Cobra and a Marty Robbins stock car. So much great stuff, packed into one place…you gotta check it out if you’re ever in the area.
