I’ve seen some bitchin jumps up close and personal, and I’m not even talking about any of my own. I’ve stood closer than just about anyone while watching the General Lee fly through the air, I’ve seen Jim York’s crazy limo jump, and I’ve seen trucks fly through the air too many times to count. But I’ve never seen anyone lawn dart one in with such violence as Jim York did in the Family Jumpster at LSFest last weekend. This was insane and epic and I don’t even know how to describe it.
The whole thing seems awesome, but then it started happening and when this sucker was in the air looking like something out of Dukes of Hazzard meets Fast and Furious, I thought “Oh crap this might not end well.” It was a huge jump. I’m talking HUGE. But the landing sucked. He got right out which is amazing, but holy crap it was hair-raising.
But enough talk, just watch and you’ll understand. We’ve got several angles.
