It’s hard to not cringe and utter something like, “Dude…that sucks…” when all you see of a Polaris RZR 800 is two of the wheels right at the surface of the water and the certainly unimpressed operator floundering around in a fetid water hole that nobody gave much of a thought to until that one loud splash was heard. That is not a look of happiness, that’s a man who is trying to figure out just how fast he’s going to have to work in order to save the engine, transmission and any other part of the RZR that isn’t completely and utterly waterproof, but that has to wait until two more pressing issues are dealt with: getting the RZR back on all four wheels and getting the UTV out of the absolutely rank-looking water trap. This was not the way he wanted to end his race at Moonlight ORV Park in Missouri, that’s for sure, but at least a few of the onlookers are willing to offer up oil so that he can get to the task of draining out the milkshake that is waiting for him in the crankcase.
