Mopar fans rejoice, the Goodguys 2012 Giveaway car is an artistic interpretation of the venerable Motown Missile of the 1970’s. Our friends at Route2Media put this great video together showing the Goodguys Missile giveaway car, it’s builders, and it’s predecessors. It’s a Pro Touring inspired version, but we think they did a damn good job putting it together over at RPM Hot Rods in Pennsylvania, and have captured the feel of the original as well.
We’ve seen the car already get thrown around the autocross, and doing burnouts down the street, and can tell you that the Indy Hemi makes big power thanks to BangShift sponsors FAST, Jet Hot, Aeromotive, and Holley. It rides on a Roadster Shop chassis that is suspended by Ridetech Coilovers and stopped by big Baer Brakes, so you can have fun no matter how you choose to drive it.
Check it out.
Magnificent car. Thank you, Good-guys.
Chad
I am one of the lucky 25 to get a chance to drive this car home in November.
It is hard to find out the definitive info on the Goo Guys Missile.
Do you have any more pix of the car and detailed specs??
Thanks
Dick
