Morning Symphony: The Aussie Burnout That Impresses The Guy Who Films Aussie Burnouts

Maybe the burnout contest at LS Fest influenced me some. Maybe it’s just been a week that leaves you wanting to hang an engine at the upper end of the RPM range until the pipes glow while you scream your head off in harmony inside the car for me. Whatever the case, today deserves an Aussie burnout video. But not just any one, I want a good one. I want one where the main square of the skidpan is merely a suggestion, with the whole asphalted area open for business. I want that engine to sing…not beat the rev limiter into submission, and certainly to not puke the rods out at 10,000 RPM. I don’t want anger…I want the kind of burnout where when the tires finally let go, I’m ready to stand up and scream to a stadium full of gearheads, “ARE WE HAVING FUN OR WHAT?!”

Since the closest I’m getting to that for a while has already come and gone for the year, I’ll go clean out my garage so that I can roll a car in there. Meanwhile, check out “FRASHER” here and tell me that this isn’t one of the better controlled, better manipulated Aussie burnouts you’ve ever seen.
