Morning Symphony: Listen To This Ex-SuperStars BMW M3 Bark Up A Hillclimb!

The SuperStars V8 touring car series had one major flaw, in our opinion: by the time we learned about it, the racing season had come to a close and the entire deal basically imploded, which was a shame: take everything awesome from Europe and America that thumps out an eight-cylinder tune, add enough body modifications to appear to be a racing car but not enough that the original body becomes a joke (most were actual production car bodies before being built as race cars) and put them on the tracks of Europe. AMG Mercedes and Jaguars battled CTS-Vs and 300 SRT-8s, Camaros went door-to-door with Audis and Maseratis, and such. BMW certainly wasn’t going to be left out of the fun, and sent the venerable M3 to do some dirty work. Unfortunately, after 2013 it appeared that the series was a dead duck, no matter how many attempts were made to bring it back to life, so what was left to do for the cars that raced in the series? Well, there are plenty of hillclimb events in Europe that a snorting muscle car built for racetracks could find some happiness on, that’s for sure, and that’s where this E92 was found by exhaust note video genius 19Bozzy92.
