Morning Symphony: The Supercruise At Motorvation 33

Morning Symphony: The Supercruise At Motorvation 33

While we’re dealing with Arctic blasts and icy, snowy conditions here in the Northern Hemisphere, in the Southern Hemisphere it’s the middle of summer and the fun only ramps up from the “quieter” wintertime events. Who are we kidding…it’s hardly ever quiet in Australia, it seems. As long as it’s not dumping rain and the track is open, it’s game on for the local gearheads to buy a few gallons of the good stuff for the tank, to make sure they have a set of tires at the ready that they aren’t going to miss, and to prepare to do every last thing that the lawmakers and safety nannies fear will do untold damage to families, friends and communities. Is it really considered “hooning” if it’s on the strip and not the street? Does anybody really care one way or another? Judging from the Supercruise at Motorvation 33, it doesn’t seem to affect any enthusiasm for letting a good tire-fire happen. They’re all having a great time. I’m sitting in my office chair, looking outside at the snow and ice, and I’m jealous. Like I have been for years now.
