It takes serious skill to be able to toss a motorcycle around on a dirt course with jumps. It takes even more skill and some brass ones to pull off tricks as you’re doing said jumps. And if part of the jump involves you leaving the bike for a second…well, buddy, even Travis Pastrana can tell you that every once in a while that might not work out in your favor, and that’s the risk you take.
Rider Mason Bozarth learned that last bit the hard way recently. He was attempting a “Superman”, where you leave the bike, grab onto the seat and “fly” before pulling yourself back onto the bike. That didn’t go to plan: Bozarth got off the bike fine, and pushed off and back with one hand fine, but the second he went for the seat grab the seat slipped out of his hands and faster than you can mutter “This is gonna hurt” both bike and rider came crashing down to earth.
Reportedly there were no injuries and Bozarth was back in the saddle in short order.
Man, you can see him starting to panic there! Glad to hear he’s OK.
that video will never get old…grabbing for the seat…looked like a cartoon…HA! made my day!
An old saying is the FIRST the that comes to me –
MISSED IT BY THAT MUCH.
LOL
