Lacey was back at it for the Burnout Wars competition at LSFest Texas a few weeks ago, and boy was she out for blood! Lucky for her, she also had a secret weapon in the form of one of Australia’s best burnout, or skid, drivers. What’s funny, is that one of the things he showed her involved the throttle pedal in her Dodge pickup and something folks seem to often forget about. I very often say that the throttle pedal works both ways, and that’s because some folks seem to have forgotten that and have the never lift attitude. But what’s also awesome about your average throttle pedal is that it works everywhere in the middle of its travel as well!

Yeah, it turns out you can actually do stuff at part throttle and that throttle control can be your friend. In Lacey’s case it absolutely was something she could do to see a big difference in her ability to control the truck and you won’t believe the funny, but simple, addition to the truck that made it possible.
