This may be the best way to cook a Turkey! Clearly the dudes in this video designed and built this jet and go-kart in their back yard. At the same time, it’s pretty clear they aren’t a group of rednecks just trying something out. They’ve got some engineering skill of some kind. The heart of this entire exercise is a GIANT turbo off of some kind of earth mover. The jet itself is pretty big with the giant pipe out the back and the afterburner pumps and all. What we find funny is the fact that you need a Honda 4 stroke engine to make the thing run, and it would arguably be faster just running it instead of the jet. But what fun would that be, right?
The two videos below will inspire you to go out in the garage today and start tinkering with something. It made me want to go terrorize my neighborhood on the BangShift.com minibike of death. Maybe later.

While cool to actually have it on there. The jet seems slower than a 125 motorcyle engine and less responsive . ( tractable )
In real speed…
30, MAYBE 35 mpg.

Total “nerd”power,God bless them!
How to royally piss of your neighbours, step 1….
Global warming atmosphere destruction all those kerosene fumes,Bloody fantastic group of Muppets,
Oh how heart warming to see my fellow country men doing stuff just for the hell of it.
Building crazy stuff not because it will set a land speed record, but just because they can and it will probably be a good laugh.
Maybe it didn’t actually reach 60mph, but who cares, it was loud and made loads of smoke. I’m sure they are working on improvements.
I’m also sure that 99% of their ‘normal’ friends think they are lunatics. haha
That’s a lot of trouble for a slow as hell!
