After running the 1320 Video Burnout Contest video yesterday I had tire smoke on the brain and decided we needed more. A lot more. So, here are the top 10 Burnouts as judged at the 2013 SummerNats in Australia. Sure they take it to a different side of tire smoke with all their donuts and what have you, but also the car control is great. I’m a big fan of smoking tires, and would love to be there in person at some point. Maybe we should start up a collection for next year or something. There is nothing else to say except, enjoy the sounds of big engines at high rpm, and cars bellowing tire smoke and rubber chunks like mad. We approve.

You’re a year out. That was Summernats 25 which was in 2012. This year they reconfigured the track and they start from the opposite end.
I advise you to get in touch with the organises and let them know you are from the upper echelon of Hot Rodding in the USA, and they might shout you a certificate. They flew down Troy Trapanier one year and had him as a guest judge. Hey, if ‘FRYburger’ and Finnegan can score a trip to Oz, surely you can do the same!
How do the rest of us score a trip to Oz? You guys still know how to have a good time with your cars.
