Roadkill! Wait…Boatkill? Our Favorite Dynamic Duo Hit The Water With A Jet Boat That Packs A Very Familiar Engine

Roadkill! Wait…Boatkill? Our Favorite Dynamic Duo Hit The Water With A Jet Boat That Packs A Very Familiar Engine

If you’ve watched more than a couple episodes of Roadkill you know that Finnegan has a thing for boats that haul ass. He’s got several killer water rides, but one, a Rogers jet boat, has been languishing in the shop for a little bit. It’s got plenty going for it, including some great 1970s era paintwork, but it doesn’t have a motor. That might present a problem.

DF’s Muscle Truck, on the other hand, does, so there is no problem! The LS6 that resides in the 1974 C-10 is a snotty piece that would do the jet boat proud, but pulling it out and putting it into the boat before leaving for Lake Elsinore, California just makes too much sense. Since it’s been a while since the last time they have done a parking lot engine swap, the guys stuff the Muscle Truck and the boat to the brim with tools, parts, and the somewhat trusty engine hoist and make the trip down to the water’s edge, where they yank out the LS6 and stuff it into the boat for the Tom Papp Memorial day on the lake. There’s plenty to see in this episode, from the trailer hitch install turning into a trailer hitch creation, some of the most rank water you’ll ever see, and Freiburger having to make a run to the outhouse that’s floating in the middle of the lake. (About that nasty water…)
