Roads Untraveled Reviews A Five-Year-Old Challenger To See How It Is Upon First Impression

Have you wondered how the late-model muscle cars will fare after a few years of use and abuse, especially in the face of competition? I have, but it is difficult to get an unbiased opinion, or to even find someone who hasn’t driven a prior or newer generation model to compare it to. Marcus from Roads Untraveled, however, hadn’t driven a LY Challenger, but of all the cars they picked to drive, this 2010 R/T Classic just pours salt in the wounds for me. In 2010, I attempted, for the first and probably last time, to buy a brand-new car. It was a triple-black 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Track Pack, and without going into details, let’s just say I got completely hosed on the deal and had to return the car a week later. Ever since then my eye twitches just a little every time I see one, because for the week I possessed the car I was completely and fully happy with it. I loved the six-speed, loved the 5.7 Hemi, loved the way it looked, everything. Driving that car was what influenced me to purchase the Chrysler 300C when I was replacing the Mustang I had been driving a couple of years ago.

The guys who brought you the Supra video we showed you earlier this week got a shot at a near-mirror image of the one I tried to buy. Five years have passed since this car was new, and with Hellcat and Scat Pack 392 versions everywhere, how does a nearly-stock 2010 R/T stack up against them? Does the car impress or put off with the lower-quality interior? It’s actually an interesting viewpoint, since these cars are now affordable enough to be picked up as a drivable project car, much as the same vein as Project Angry Grandpa sits in our fleet.

I fond of cars, I have read a lot of magazines, newspapers, blogs, watch different videos concerning the cars topic and I want to say that late-model cars are the most attractive for me. In my blog dedicated to the cars procustomwriting.com blog I wrote some tips how to choose the perfect car for you.

Overall informative and fun listening to that lovely V8 music. Curious if the opening where the car took off, caught 2nd with that nice tire screech, then 3rd, ditto if the narrator was driving. In my car world, it’s like a coin. Have my 5.3 liter V8 in my old GMC Sierra, with k&n cold air induction and true duel exhaust with cherry bomb glass packs. Then I have our/my wife’s 2012 Accord V6 ex-l, my 6th accord since 1984 but my first V6. My V8 plays my song but the V6 accord is a rocket. Cruise at 80mph & hit the gas and 110 arrives quick, with plenty left…only accesory is replaced air filter with a k&n replacement. Point being, nice video. Think I’ll look for a 4-5 yr old mopar hemi r/t…
