Swedish Military Breadbox: Regular Car Reviews Checks Out A 1975 Volvo C303!

Military passenger vehicles have one real purpose: to move a designated amount of humans and their cargo from one point to another. That’s it. If you are looking for a cushy ride, any options whatsoever, or even seats that don’t punish your backside, you have come to the wrong place and need to turn around and head back to Candy Land. Military vehicles are beasts of burden, tasked, used, abused, fixed until they can’t be fixed no more, then stripped out so that others may live. Which makes the Volvo C303 unique…these were sold to civilians, and not after their useful life as a military vehicle was over. Maybe it was because it was build like a minivan that could work during the Apocalypse or because it just might be the toughest Volvo ever…a statement in it’s own right…but some of the 8,000+ breadboxes were sold to private owners. This particular one wasn’t so lucky…it was a military truck from birth until it was acquired by a gym rat wearing fatigues, then by the guys at Blipshift. Even Mr. Regular, who should be jaded to vehicles by now, seems taken aback by this…thing. Check it out:
