Take A Walk Through The Hoonigan Shop And Check Out What’s Just Sitting Around!

Take A Walk Through The Hoonigan Shop And Check Out What’s Just Sitting Around!

Sometimes, you have to stop and take stock of what’s going on in the garage. In my garage, there’s three engines, two transmissions, an engine hoist that is eating up a metric ton of space, and a newly-housed Chrysler that now needs a freaking water pump replaced. (Didn’t I just fix this car like, last week? I could’ve sworn that I did…) Whether you have zero floor space and wall-to-wall crap that you are dreading getting rid of because you see at least two weekends vaporizing into work, or your cars are in there sitting the winter out, waiting for when the sun is shining and the trees are budding out, the garage is the holy grail refuge of the gearhead. And every now and then it doesn’t hurt to see what’s going on inside, just to keep your head straight about what’s here. The Hoonigan garage is no different…yeah, they’ve got cars aplenty, but there’s a lot of projects in the wings and they want to get an idea from viewers as to what gets some love and attention next.

Here you’ll see everything, from the Rolls-Royce with the late-model Mopar Hemi swap to the Holden Ute that they built (and didn’t quite finish) for SEMA, a 1920s Chevrolet that needs more carpentry work than mechanical work, and the mythical Napalm Nova, and plenty others. The guys will give you the rundown on the cars that are alive and what’s needed for the ones that aren’t quite there yet, and they want you to sound off and give your input to which car is next up on the list.

As much as I personally like the ute, a six-speed Hemi Roller sounds like a riot, personally…what about you?

Personally, I’d like to see the Ute doing big smoky burnouts. They’ve been teasing us with that car for months. If you aren’t a Hoonigan fan, or just don’t watch their YouTube show, please do yourself a favor and go watch want went into building that car. The previous “shop daddy” fully converted the Ute to left hand drive with an entire 04 GTO dash assembly– it was awesome to watch.

Can the burnout crap end yet?

I could smoke the tires until they blew in a 1988 Ford Festiva, with all 58hp that it had. Smoke is fun for about two minutes, and then dull as hell. If you want to impress, put the power down and do something useful with it.
