Every job has it’s perk, and for the guys at Hot Rod Garage, that perk is being able to film an entire episode at the track with all of the cars that they have been wrenching on. Rough day, sure, but in the grand scheme of things, the man-hours spent are…educational? Informative? Whatever must be said to let people sleep at night, we guess. But at least some work was done beforehand to fill the “garage” time: The Project X ’57 Chevrolet gets a step closer to getting back to it’s street machine roots with a 15″ wheel fitment and new brakes to clear the wheels, the “Bonemaro” Camaro gets a new torque converter to put the cheap turbo power of the LS to good use for once, and Lucky’s personal Chevelle is getting a new twin-disc clutch and a scattershield, mostly because the old unit was quickly becoming a weak link after taking a ton of abuse for the better part of the year. There’s burned rubber, there’s shop time, and you’ll have to hit play to see which set of wheels puked it’s guts out on the strip!
