The Post-Event Rundown – Did Cleetus Wound The Third Engine In Ruby The Corvette?

The Post-Event Rundown – Did Cleetus Wound The Third Engine In Ruby The Corvette?

Apparently, there is confusion on what Garrett does for the gearhead. That Cleetus and Cars is nothing more than mindless activities, that you’d be better off setting your money on fire. Let’s address that right now: you couldn’t be further from the truth if you tried. If you don’t dig the Cleetus schtick, fine, so be it. I’ll be up-front that I’m not a fan of it either. But you’ve never seen someone work their ass off to bring entertainment and fun to a crowd like he does. I’ve seen it first-hand in Bowling Green…the dude is P.T. Barnum for the gearhead. He can work a crowd up, he can get competitors to go balls-out and, unlike Barnum, Cleetus will join the circus as more than just a ringmaster. He has built his own toys and will not hesitate to put them through the ringer in the pursuit of getting the crowd roaring. It’s the one thing I really dig about his work. He will go balls-out with all of his toys. Leroy the Savage, the Project Neighbor Ford, Ruby the Auction Mistake Corvette, everything. From the moment he sets down and starts meeting and greeting with fans until the final lap has been run and it’s time to start shoving cars back into trailers, this cat is on WFO and won’t stop until the show is over.

We will ALWAYS support someone like that. Anyone who encourages fans to come out, race, hoon, and to have a good time is fine by us any day of the week.

Not a big fan either, But hey, if were raking in the money that he was from YouTube and his sponsors, I would be all over that too! (get paid to build bad-ass cars, then blow them up for entertainment, then get paid even more to make them even better, who wouldn’t want that???)

Its Amazing what some of these Youtube hero’s make, in some cases they make more in a month than some people make in a year! (or so I’ve been told…)

This is the coolest event that I, unfortunately, could not attend. How nice that there are a review and video on which you can admire these beautiful cars.I quite often attend such events thanks to shows in Las Vegas, this is possible almost every week. So if you want bright impressions, you will definitely find something for yourself. But how beautiful it was this time.
