You Think Your Commute Bites? Try Going To Work At This Lighthouse

This video shows you why the typical morning commute isn’t the gigantic pain in the ass that most people would have you believe. We don’t know where this is on the planet, but the seas sure as hell ain’t friendly today.

This is a typical shift change at the lighthouse, one that involves a guy wire, a man holding onto that rope as a belay man for dear life, the ship’s captain working the throttles like a madman to keep the boat in one place while the ocean tosses it around, and a commute that involves hanging over the freakin’ ocean while your co-workers try to reel you in onto the deck. Nothing to it, right?

Suddenly, a traffic jam on a hot day in the afternoon doesn’t sound so bad now, does it?

Thanks to Matt White for the tip!

I believe that’s the La Jument lighthouse located in the Northwestern part of France on the coastline of Brittany.
