The Roadster Shop is known for bad ass pro-touring and hot rod chassis, and has been building some of the nicest restomod and pro-touring machines on the planet for several years now. Their builds are all highlighted on their website, the fabrication and customization is of the highest caliber, and their style is something special. One of their biggest draws in recent years has been their muscle car and truck builds that appear nearly stock, just much nicer.

So it absolutely made sense when the Roadster Shop came out with their Legend Series rolling chassis for square body Chevy pickups. This all new chassis uses new, modern, and robust suspension systems that make a square body ride and perform like a new car instead of a rough riding old truck. There is a lot to the suspension, body, and drivetrain, and in this video below Jeremy will be taking us through this new truck build, the features of the chassis and drivetrain, and more.

It’s a bitchin truck and if you dig a square body, you are going to like it. From across a parking lot it would just look like a restored truck.

On the road with Jeremy in the most recently completed ‘Legend Series’ build #004: the ‘Urban Cowboy’. A 1976 Chevy C10 pickup built as the first ‘full’ Legend Series turn key package.

Where prior Legend Builds were completed in the ‘Survivor Series’ style (original factory paint, glass, trim etc), this ’76 stands apart with brand new paint and bodywork, trim and full Avant Garde interior treatment. As always, these builds utilize our full Legend Series chassis platform (see link below), this one with a 455HP LT1 motor and 8L90 transmission.

A host of other custom details refine the fit, finish and subtle modernization taking the vintage squarebody package to a whole new level for the decades and miles to come.
