Two Beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Impalas And The Owner Who Restored Them From The Ground Up

When you roam a car show, look at the vehicles not for their beauty, or their power, but instead, next time, look at them and wonder what kind of stories they could tell. Automobiles have been such an ingrained part of American culture for so long now that you could write the great American novel just by examining the history of a classic car. In this Petrolicious film, we go on a journey to meet Don Rogers and his two 1964 Chevrolet Impalas. On their own accord, both cars are stunners, nearly restored, but with just enough custom touches to be cool and soundtracks that appeal to the gear head in us. But the story isn’t just how Don found, restored and built up the cars, but the reason he has the Impalas, and the histories behind each car, that draw you in. Of course, that could be chalked up to Petrolicious’ beautiful filming style, which puts both of these black beauties in the perfect light. If this doesn’t make you want to get out and cruise, nothing does.
