Watch 9-Time Le Mans Winner Tom Kristensen Absolutely Cane a Priceless Ferrari at Goodwood

The Goodwood Road & Racing provides possibly the world’s most visible venue for racing priceless antiquities. While there were so many great moments from last weekend’s racing at the Goodwood festival, none was probably more impressive than “Mr. Le Mans” himself, Tom Kristensen, caning a priceless Ferrari 250 SWB in the Kinrara Trophy that closed out the first day of three days of racing. The Kinrara race, which featured a driver change, saw Kristensen hop in his silver Prancing Pony right around sunset and then tear through the field from the middle of the pack to take the win.

Just because the Kinrara field is worth probably a billion dollars doesn’t mean drivers were taking it easy. Kristensen is no stranger to crazy charges at Goodwood; last year, the nine-time Le Mans winner drove through the 1960s saloon car field of Minis and Alfa Romeos with a burly Ford Fairlane. Maybe the title of Mr. Le Mans isn’t enough for the likable Danish driver; it seems like you may be able to add “Mr. Goodwood” to his resume. You can bet we’ll have more videos from Goodwood Road & Racing this week.
