This 1977 Ford Granada Ghia Will Set You Apart From The Pro Touring Norm

It’s Fox body based, can do anything a Mustang, Fairmont, or Lincoln Zephyr of the era can do, and ultimately it looks more luxury in the process. This example of the Ford Granada has clearly been taken care of, as the interior is near mint. With the 302 and C4 it’s a good cruiser, and a great way to get int autocross, but a simple swap or two makes this thing a real terror. A 5 or 6 Speed from American Powertrain drops right in, and there are only about a million mods you can make to every other part of this car, including the small block Ford under the hood.

We dig it. Way more than a Fox Body Mustang, and think all of you should be clamoring to get this rust free, near mint, example.

Here is what the seller has to say about it.

1977 Ford Granada Ghia
Great running 302 with C-4 automatic trans.
This car is daily driver reliable and I’ve driven it all over. Original So-Cal car with no rust anywhere on it. Interior is in great shape with no tears on seats and all are soft and have no signs of wear. Carpet is still clean and dash has never been cut up. About a clean of an example as you are going to find out. Car has been lowered 3 inches all around and still rides really good for how low it is. All maintenance has been performed on it and registration is current. Clean title in hand and ready to go. Just smogged and ready for new owner.

Keep in mind this is an over 40 year old car so its not perfect but it is clean inside and out.

$4700.00 or possible trades for full size truck. F100, F150, C10

So much hate for this particular style of car…I don’t get it…I’ve always liked them….I dig seeing them modded….this one is cool…I’d DD it.

Not a Fox… Full frame, more like a shrunken LTD. They did offer manual transmissions in them, but I can’t imagine how hard it would be to find factory pedals!!

No \”full frame\” and not a Fox. The 1975-80 Granada was derived from the same 1960 unibody platform architecture that spawned the Falcon, Fairlane, Pre-1974 Mustang, Pre-1972 Torino, Pre-1974 Cougar, Comet, Maverick and similar intermediates.

The dead giveaways are the Falcon-style shock towers (springs on the upper control arms and the Hotchkiss-style rear drive.

The 1981-82 Granada was a Fox-body though. It used modified MacPherson struts and a four-link Salisbury rear drive.
