Buy This Fire Rescue 1970 Chevrolet Suburban And Be The Envy Of All Your Friends!

When my brother Mike Powers sent this one to me yesterday I drooled over each and every photo. Not only is this a really straight, numbers match, “all original”, 1970 Chevrolet Suburban, but it’s also a Fire Rescue vehicle! Other than the rear bumper, this thing is super straight and would make an awesome tow rig or Nostalgia Dragster push truck. We’d swap the wheels out for steelies with dog dish caps, and lower it just a bit to make it look ultra cool. It still has the siren on it to go with all the lights, so we’d get in trouble wailing that thing for sure! It’s small block powered, and has all the original drivetrain in it. Plus it runs and drives nice!

Except for the color, she’s identical to the police “paddy wagons” of my birthplace (Trenton, NJ) back in the day.

Cool. There must have been a couple of companies that made ambulance conversions out of these as I’ve seen two different roofs.
