We love ramp trucks, and you guys should know that by now, but this might be the first one we’ve seen in a while that is a chopped COE Chevy. It’s pretty clean, and totally street rod style, which is probably what it hauled before going up for auction on eBay. We like the fact that it has been transplanted onto a 1990 Chevy C3500 Dually chassis as parts are easy to come by for these. The seller got it in trade, so doesn’t know much of the specifics, but from what we can see this thing is ready to rock which just a few tweaks.

It’s not the style we typically want around here, but I can tell you that this thing would be mint to haul a toy around with. We want it.

“CABOVER” CUSTOM BUILT TOW TRUCK

“50 Chevy  Cabover truck, with custom built car hauler rear.  Sitting on a 1990 Chevy Dually frame .  A low mile 454 under the bed behind the cab, mated to a Turbo 400 trans.  Has side panels on each side, and a “trap door” on top of the bed for access.  Power steering and brakes. The cab has the grille and front bumper molded in for a smooth look., and the front has been molded in.  Custom made steps to get in the cab. Roof has also been chopped. This truck has “the look.” Has on board compressor, air chucks on both sides of the bed, 25 gallon gas tank. LED taillights. Bottom are running lights, middle are brake lights, top ones are turn signals. Has rear “semi” truck air bags that have nearly a foot of lift, and are about as heavy duty as it gets, bed will carry quite a bit of weight.  Working electric winch.  Needs a speedo and gas gauge hooked up.  8 way power seat.  Killer looking beer tap shifter. Took this beast on a trade and don’t now much about it, plus too big to keep at my house, but runs great and absolutely stops traffic.  I encourage all bidders to come take a look and see  for themselves.  Ask any and all qestions before bidding. Not  a show truck, but is an impressive piece that can  be used as a tow vehicle. Also has ramps that slide under the bed for easy loading.
