Sounds good I do think the P motor pulls harder and higher than E7, and way better than the 73 2bbl motor I took out of it
but some of that might be the little extra cam this motor has. I looked around some and it seams like most people are saying 5.0 HO stock limiter was 6250. Its hard to tell where it likes to be shifted I really don't trust the factory tach. I may get one off of ebay instead of a pack of 5 new ones. I want to get it back on the track so bad I have even thought of taking it to the local 1/8

Check plugs and wires make sure my non-P long tubes did not cook them to bad. Install MSD
