Hell Hath No Fury: Wife Destroys Husband’s Audi R8 After She Learns He Cheated

Hell Hath No Fury: Wife Destroys Husband’s Audi R8 After She Learns He Cheated

If you are stupid enough to cheat on your spouse, you deserve to get caught. And if you manage to get caught, you should expect all sorts of bad karma to come at you all at once for your infidelity. Such is this case, where after a wife learned that her husband had been testing out other waters, decided to go into full wrecking-ball mode with his Audi R8, according to GTspirit.com.

The Audi R8 can be viewed as “Gallardo Light”: packing either the Audi 4.2 V8 or a Lamborghini-derived 5.2L V10, the all-wheel-drive R8 has been a darling of reviewers and owners, with great handling and power. They are cheaper than a Gallardo, but they still aren’t cheap. Good money says that the car was this guy’s toy, and might have even been a daily driver, but once the wife figured out why he was always in “long meetings at work”, the car was targeted for destruction. It appears that nothing was spared, from the glass to the body, everything has had something injured, smashed, scratched, mauled or otherwise defaced. The interior looks like it survived a playdate with a very angry mountain lion with the seats and dash shredded and wires hanging from the roof. And of course, there’s plenty of notes all over the car aimed squarely at the husband.

Maybe, once the insurance deals with what’s left of this poor Audi (and if the wife doesn’t clean his clock out during the divorce), just maybe the husband might think about the upcoming next-generation Audi R8. And maybe staying single if you’re going to go play around.

There is the possibility that this will not be covered by his insurance. His wife presumably is a insured, and most insurance policies exclude coverage for “intentional acts by an insured..” So he may be seriously hosed.

My guess…is neither the husband or the wife are very nice people!

She could have been driving this gorgeous car after the divorce, which probably would have hurt him worse.

“neither the husband or the wife are very nice people” – nailed it. Also in re. to referring to the hubby as a scumbag, while I’m inclined to think he likely is, I’d also like to add that I once cheated – it was fantastic – and I’m not a scumbag, just a guy who was once stuck in a particularly shitty relationship but who is now a happy and fulfilled free-agent.

People who destroy private property are usually charged with a crime and maybe spend time behind bars, this should be the case here. Any thing else that happened that made this woman go crazy is a separate matter. And yes, said crazy lady could be on the hook for the damage.

It’s a crime to destroy one’s own property? Remember, they’re married, the car is a marital asset.

If and when it should come to a point of division of marital assets, it may or may not be considered joint property. At this point however the chances that her name was also on the title of ownership we don’t know, but I would bet that it was not. At this point in time it would probably not be under any conditions be considered her property.

There is that possibility as well. All of that can change with a good lawyer though. That is the most expensive thing on this Earth, a pissed off wife with a savvy lawyer.

There is NO excuse for that. I see that the same as killing someone’s dog because they cheated. It’s just vindictive and wrong.

should lock her up on a DV charge, that is what would happen if the hubby had done the same thing to her car.

Whether it was private property or community property depends on what state they live in. If they love in Texas, he MIGHT get half the cost of the repairs in the divorce settlement . . . offset by what she would get, of course.

doesn’t matter whose name was on the title. in most states, any property acquired during the marriage is marital property. it’s a law that prevents people from stocking up on assets then leaving a spouse high and dry just because all the property is in one name. so she destroyed something that was hers and would have been considered in the computation of the assets. now it will be considered in the computation of the liabilities. she needs counseling and their problems likely started well before she learned of his infidelity. i’d have much rather driven off with my new beau in that pretty car.

Drive my keys into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seats, took a Louisville Slugger to both headlights, slashed a hole in all four tires.. maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats

people dont relize she is going to go to jail for this shit that over 100 dollars in damage she wont get shit in the divorce
