I don’t know what the percentage of hot rodders have owned a car with flames, but as one of them I can tell you that it is awesome. It’s awesome because, unless you are actually at a big car show, there aren’t going to be other flamed cars or trucks around you most of the time. That makes you stand out. In a parking lot, on the street, cruising down the freeway. Wherever you go, you are going to be grabbing attention with one of the most iconic paint schemes in hot rodding history.
I’d have another flamed car or truck in a heartbeat. But I’ll have to paint it myself, because nowadays I can’t afford to pay for a paint job like this.
So when it is time for some flames, I’m going to hit up my buddy Brad who did this video, to make sure I’ve got my plans and tools right.
