If you aren’t familiar with Cerakote, don’t feel bad. The truth is that a lot of people who know the name don’t actually know what it is. In simple language it is an ultra thin ceramic coating that has insane corrosion and abrasion resistance. It is available in a bunch of colors, is ultra high heat capable, and really protects components on your car or truck. And it can be applied to more than just steel and aluminum. In fact, it can go onto almost any solid surface, so it makes it really cool for using on parts and accessories in your vehicle.

We lucked out with a set of old-school, 1990s billet wheels on our Tahoe Limited already. But the 17-inch Colorado Custom wheels were trashed. Rather than repolishing the wheels; we had them fixed and media blasted.
Then, we sprayed the billet wheels with Cerakote Titanium for a classy finish.
Spraying the air cure coating meant no need for paint mixing or ovens to bake them in before mounting up 235/60R17 Nitto tires.
